Claire is 10 can you believe it! She is an amazing "pre-teen". She loves to make friendship bracelets, beaded jewelry, and little fashion gloves. Claire is a great helper. She helps Elise more than anyone could. Sticks up for her on the bus and makes sure she is taken care of. About a month ago at school she found Elise standing in the freezing rain on the timeout wall at recess. Elise was crying hysterically and Claire comforted her and beyond that confronted the adult in charge. We were so proud of her for doing what is right even though it was scary. One thing you might not know about her is that she has really struggled learning to read. She has tried so hard for years reading everyday, it was very frustrating for her. But this year it finally clicked and she can read. She listens to "Harry Potter" every night as she goes to bed. I think she takes after her Grandma Jones! Claire loves to play Harry Potter songs on the piano. We are so thankful for this sweet girl.
